The StealthMiner JPro+ is a 27-30TH SHA256 miner with average performance of ~24-26 J/T in the 650-750W operating range. This is standard performance but is not guaranteed as individual boards may vary on chip efficiencies that can be achieved. ** For reference, stock efficiency from Bitmain on this board is 27.5 J/T.
The JPro+ Hashboards and APW3++ PSUs used are recycled from commercial operations that are swapping out hardware for the latest and greatest. The machines will be tested and tuned on 3 nominal operational settings before shipment.
In this design, they are down clocked for efficiency gains, longevity of hardware, sound attenuation, and quite simply... safely operating them on any North American residential 120V circuits where standard household loads may already exist.
This type of miner is known to the DIY community as a "Loki Rig" since the tech that allows us to operate on 120V PSU is the Pivotal Pleb Loki kit.
The StealthMiner design is the @satstackingpleb take on cooling a single board Loki rig. Instead of moving the air parallel over the hashboard, I am stripping the air from the chip-side of the board in a perpendicular manner where air is still forced to move over the non-chip-side of the board as well. I have noticed tighter operating temperature gradients with this cooling configuration powered by 4x Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000 RPM fans. So this is also achieved under 60dB (normal conversational tones).
This model is powered by the BeagleBone Control Board running a white label Vnish firmware with standard mining I/O on the rear of the miner and a little extra in case you want to connect via WiFi with a VONETS device.
